your new album "e=mb²" ››› that you have produced with tom hades has just been released. how came up the idea to do an album together? |

we are working already more then ten years together on several things and releases. we put our studios together so having an album out togheter is not something surprising ;) |

how can we picture your cooperation? who does what and how long have you been working on "e=mb²"?

we worked on it like a good full year ...not every day, cause in between there were other works and a few remixes to do etc . but it took for the album a good year indeed. |

for a long time tom and you have been studio partners and have released serveral eps together. what is special about your cooperation in comparison to your solo projects? |

marco bailey: |
we both are open for more kinds of music; techno in a very large spectrum! minimal, electro, techhouse, harder funky teck bits, chill out, ambient, electronica. we all like it. and we both get quick bored from producing always the same kind of techno. we think it's also boring for the people if you play every time the same as well... |

supporting the album you'll be touring the world with a live set. what is special for you about playing live? how much equipment will you use? |

marco bailey: |
on our live shows we are with a kind of band on stage. tom and myself plus two other great musicians: a live guitar player, a sax player, also lots of equipment of course not only laptops. we're using 909 drummachine, a couple of synths etc

for 15 years you have been producing techno now. what inspires you? |

marco bailey: |
what inspires me in this music is the energy what comes out of this music, and the energy and good feeling it is giving me back, while i play it as a dj or in the make of in the studio. |

which other projects are you going to do after the tour? |
|
|
marco bailey: |
more releases on mb elektronics, taking still more time for making a release, cause quick and fast work is never good actually in producing. we have a new drumcode coming out on adam beyer his label, a new ep on remain records, followed up by another on that label in october etc ...always keep on going on! |
