andre crom is a dj and producer of electronic dance music, twisted as well as rocking, always aimed at the dancefloor. as a longtime resident of the popular harpune club in duesseldorf, which regularly ranks under the top 10 in the yearly club charts of groove and de:bug, he‘s had the joy of playing with many of his musical heroes: for example ricardo villalobos, steve bug, ellen allien, miss kittin, wighnomy bros, magda and troy pierce, jay haze, dj koze, alter ego, daniel bell and many more. he‘s also resident of the clubnight „heimatmelodie“, happening once a month @ „hotel shanghai“ in essen and „versteck“ in dortmund. this clubnight also boasts an absolute highclass booking, with names like ellen allien, steve bug, magda, troy pierce, konrad black, märtini brös and many more in 2006. djing means nothing less than fulfillment for andre crom and that can be seen at any of his gigs. he plays a mixture of house, minimal house and minimal techno, always fine-tuned for the different clubs and crowds of each night and spiced up with own productions, loops, edits and weird samples collected from all thinkable sources. since some time andre is also active as a producer, together with tigerskin as well as on his own. his debut ep „notaufnahme“ with tigerskin on liebe*detail caused quite a hype and was played by people like magda, troy pierce, roman flügel, steve bug and countless more. a solo ep on leftroom limited will follow beginning of october, followed by a split ep on leftroom end of october. andre crom‘s first ep for ellen allien‘s memo label will be released in november. besides that he and the heimatmelodie team work on founding their own label, which will also be called „heimatmelodie“. he‘s very open to receive demos of other producers for this label. ´
