the parties where real clubbers go are with a dj not like the others ... dj laurent n.
it‘s good to emphasize that since 1990 laurent has used many pseudonyms. he started first with his real name laurent garnier (90-92) then dj es spiral (92-94) but many of us know nash(94-03) and finally here we are ... laurent n. ( 03- till now)
as a real ambassador of a music you feel, you dance, you live... he is one of the few djs that can play many styles from deep to hard techno. in between, his mix leaves people mesmerized with his musical quality and an unceasingly renewed melody.
laurent has come a long way since 1990 (date when he started to give ....)
born laurent garnier (what a coincidence!!) he is from the generation of dj’s that have digested the 80’s 90’s to be ready for the new trend: electro.
while the others were only surfing on this new trend, laurent set-up his own show : mastermind ( news club nice – 90 )
this challenge emphasizes his personality. he is discreet, passionate and open minded. he doesn‘t bear half-measure, he is very sensitive when he sends his music out the reaction of his audience bounces back to him
the public discovered a dj / an artist that plays with many sounds, come together like a winning combination.
very quickly, his style gave him access to the mythical line-ups like:
wonderland, satellites, transillusions, bash ibiza party, paradox
saying that these parties took part in the development of the local scene is an euphemism. nash became the resident dj of the famous limelight, where he did his best shows in front of a growing audience.
faithful in friendship, nash doesn‘t have to prove anything; he lives his passion, shares it and makes people dance.
he plays with the most famous: antony / daniel bell / francesco farfa / g-force / guido schneider / housemeister / jack de marseille / murphy / oxia / richard bartz / the hacker / zoo brasil ...
but he doesn’t forget that he comes from the local scene ...anthony lynn / anorak / carlo mora / dj christelle / miss joli dragon / kaiser / kevin / lady b / max / maxx-t / nick nexx / olive-r / oktav / osmoz / redj / sakura / sims / spectrum / vedrenn ...
he also plays abroad: absolutely house ( he was resident) emporio, pau electro music festival 2002; midem 2002/2003 and 2004 , resident in zurich for the nights cotes d‘azurich in supermarket club.
but also in the most famous clubs in paris like la loco, le queen, le batofar, le tryptique and almost all clubs on the french riviera.
in 2003 he find himself in a watershed case.
he has to change his pseudo due to legal constraints, which is not easy when everybody knows him as nash.
laurent n. is born ...everything has to be made again, he still has to live the best, and he finally should take this constraint as an advantage, the advantage to carry on making his audience vibrates.
it will be a pleasure to meet him again behind his deck. he is the worthy heir of a living music, never boring, more and more musical. the best you can do is to go and discover him! |
