it was clear from an early age noir was heading straight for a life in music. his childhood nickname was 'music man' because of his immediate attention drawn to the sounds of all types of music. noir and his family moved to new york and his early years were spent learning to spin reggae and hip-hop music in brooklyn, new york . while studying for his degree in international business at college of mount saint vincent in the bronx, new york , noir was also busy promoting and dj-ing at university parties and summer block parties.

at the age of 20 noir met dj steve chip chop gonzales who was dj-ing at the tunnel, webster hall, palladium, lime light and cheetah among other clubs throughout the city. dj chip chop introduced noir to house music and the club scene in new york city . webster hall was where noir had his first break into the club scene in nyc.

noir spent three years assisting steve and learning the craft of engineer in nyc. in 1997 after noir received his degree in international business, noir promptly got on a plane and went to iceland to discover european music scene and its cultures. noir quickly established himself as a house dj on the island and rocked the cold island. due to the small demographic size and weather noir moved to sweden were he worked with dr. alban, e-type, herbie and dj-ed at the heaven discotheque. thereafter, noir had frequently bookings in luxembourg , denmark , norway and finland .

noir's international break came when he moved to luxembourg in 1999 and teamed up with gregory jones. noir produced ‘it's a disco night' which became a success. this production opened the door for noir's 1st video clip and contacts with dj sammy and universal records.

noir later teamed up with peter ehrenfeld and together they created dusk entertainment. the next production was a smashing 2003 dj sammy summer hit "boys of summer" produced by dj sammy. this production quickly gained international support and became a charts breaker worldwide following the success of dj sammy's previous hit ‘haven'.

on the house tip, noir moved to the belearic island of mallorca . this summer noir can be found spinning in mallorca and ibiza during the summer season 2006. noir recent release "whats up sam" has received good reviews in the underground scence and buzz charts. up-comming releases will be sea breeze for the summer vibes and boggie woogie strickly electroklash.
