radium aka micropoint (audiogenic / b.e.a.s.t. / paris )
hardcore fan since 1992, daniel técoult aka dj radium started producing extreme electronic music with a school friend in 1993 under the name of micropoint in 1994 , and besides daniel starts a dj career under dj radium's name. the first micropoint vinyls are released on beast records and epiteth records in '95 , and the year after they create the label dead end with two other parisian artists . radium also co-creates the label psychik genocide records. the cd success of the first micropoint album " neurophonie ", released in ‘99 ,brought them to some big french events as boréalis ,heliocolors, astropolis, the final of paris' techno parade in ‘99 or in clubs as rex or arapaho… micropoint & radium also release records on labels like: ss (d), headfuck (i), deathchant (uk), cunt (nl), scum (uk) and many more. after a radium dj-mix cd ("inhuman"), micropoint release their second album «anesthesie international» including live performances of guests as ehb (singer of french alternative band ‘ltno'), did.s (drummer of rock band treponem pal), and manu le malin at the end of 2000. they tour all french concert halls with a new show including a drummer and a mc. radium also plays outside france: switzerland, italy, uk, germany, belgium, usa. after micropoint's split at the end of 2001, radium returns with a first album "paranoia performance", with different sides of his hardcore sound: gabber, hardcore, industrial, whatever? who cares as long as the bass is bangin!
