the cologne based artist roland m. dill has just cast off his career as a recording artist on trapez ltd some months ago.

his debut 12" "days" revealed his creative approach, technically speaking: of combining different styles of techno, artistically speaking: of creating a totally new genre. one of the tracks was also featured on the trapez "selection 6" mega mix cd. roland has also put his hands on lucio aquilina´s "disco bus" and has through that created a stir in the dj scene. so even at this early stage dj´s are starting to notice his potential. his "disco bus remix" was also positioned no 5 in the beatport top10 for over a week in april 08.

although his music can be categorised as techno music, his background is a stunning wild and seemingly surreal mixture of performances in different musical genres which could easily put him in the guinness book of world records. starting at the age of 5 to play several brass instruments, winning 16 competitions in that category, composing music for choirs, winning competitions prizes for young jazz musicians, winning dj mix competitions in nrw, producing hip hop music, creating his own boy group... and when he has some energy left he does free rock climbing. the list is endless but shows that roland is a very very competitive and talented young person with a huge potential.
